Forest Frenzy Seeking Ideas for New Race Obstacles

Channel your inner “Ninja Warrior” for creative, athletic obstacle challenges…and you may see it brought to life in June.

The Forest Frenzy obstacle race is seeking ideas for new race obstacles for the 2016 event scheduled for Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3 at Midland’s City Forest.

Whether it involves a challenging wall to climb, a deep pit of mud, tight spaces or other interesting challenges, the race organizers want to hear your ideas to make the race even more exciting.

To enter, please submit your idea – drawings are encouraged – to Greg Roan via email at groan@greatermidland.org. Or, you can drop off entries at the Greater Midland Community Center to Greg’s attention.

Deadline to enter is Monday, February 29. Obstacle ideas will be judged on creativity and feasibility to create the obstacle along the course inside City Forest.

The winner(s) will receive one free race entry for this year’s obstacle race.
