A: Nominations are reviewed by the nominee's manager and the head of Human Resources. A representative from the Marketing Department will contact you to let you know if the nominee does or does not fulfill the award criteria. All qualified nominees will be recognized in a timely manner.

A: Anyone who experiences or observes a staff member serving with heart may submit a nomination. This includes colleagues, managers, members, participants, etc.

A: Awardees that receive the Serve With Heart Award will receive a small gift and a certificate that explains why they were nominated.

A: Most definitely! If you see or experience a Greater Midland staff member serving with heart and feel it should be recognized then you can submit as many nominations as you’d like. However, we ask that you only submit one nomination per person per event/experience.

A: If the staff member has multiple, separate instances of serving with heart then you can submit new nominations for each event, but please do not submit more than one nomination for a single event.

A: A Serve With Heart Award is given to a deserving staff member who clearly put their whole self into their work, demonstrated a desire to help those around them, and went above and beyond to serve someone else.

A: Research consistently shows the profound impact of meaningful recognition which affects job satisfaction, retention, self-worth, pride, and Greater Midland culture and work environment. This program also serves as a way to develop role models and is a meaningful reminder to staff as to why they chose to work at Greater Midland in the first place.
