4 years - Kindergarten Readiness
Becca joined the Greater Midland family in 2015, holds an Associates of Applied Arts, majoring in Child Development, and is currently perusing a bachelors at Central Michigan University.
“Working with kids reminds me of how exciting the world can be. A lot of our day is exploring things for the first time.”
Becca also enjoys camping, spending time at the lake and loving on her three cats, dog, chickens and ducks.
Rachel Helmreich
Young Preschool 1
3 years - 4 years
Joining the Greater Midland Family in 2016, Rachel has been a part of the team for over five years. She is currently perusing her bachelors degree from Walden University, majoring in Early Care and Education.
"I love children’s natural curiosity and passion to learn.”
Rachel enjoys spending time outside, camping, kayaking, gardening and walking with her husband and dogs.
Tracy Imhoff
Young Preschool 2
3 - 4 years
Tracy started at Greater Midland in 2013.
“I love being able to watch the children grow and learn.”
In her spare time, she loves spending time with family and her son. She is also in the process of becoming a foster care parent.

Bonnie Dielman
Voyagers 2
14 months - 2 years
Bonnie started at Greater Midland in 2007. She holds a bachelors from Alma College, majoring in psychology. She also holds a CDA and an Associates in Applied Arts, majoring in Child Development.
“I get to see each child’s personalities. The excitement we all feel when a child hits a milestone, big and small, is the best part of my job.”
Bonnie enjoys watching her own two children grow and develop and enjoys being outside and staying active. She is also a dance instructor.
Jen Austin
Voyagers 1
14 months - 2 years
Jen joined the team in 2015 and holds an Associates of Applied Arts majoring in Child Development.
“I love being able to watch the children grow and learn. When they enter my class, they are new to walking. In just the short year, they are talking short sentences and their personalities have started to shine. I am with them as they learn so much.”
In her spare time, Jen enjoys summer yard work, puzzles, games, traveling and spending time with friends & family.
Melissa Benner
Tiny Learners 2
Birth - 14 Months
Melissa has been a member of the Early Care & Education team since 2018 and holds an Associates of Applied Arts majoring in Child Development.
“I love the feeling you get when you realize you can make a difference and that shows in the smiles of every single one of our students.”
Melissa loves to travel, camp and swim. She has a one-year-old son and enjoys spending time with her family.
Rashelle Hecht
Tiny Learners 1
Birth - 14 Months
Rashelle holds an Associates of Applied Arts majoring in Child Development and joined the team in 2014.
“I love being a personal cheerleader [of the students] and enjoying each step of learning along the way.”
Rashelle enjoys dancing in her kitchen with her two daughters, hiking and taking photos.
