Every parent wants the perfect summer for their child. Plenty of fresh air, swimming, laughter, learning … and memories.
At Greater Midland, we bring the perfect summer to life.
From the first day of summer until the last, Greater Midland offers more than 150 unique full- and half-day camps from toddlers to teens. Adventures, Magic, Scuba, Basketball, Theater, Cheerleading, Robotics ... these are just a sampling of what awaits your youngster this summer at Greater Midland.
Parents love Greater Midland Summer Camps, too. That’s why nearly 3,000 campers from across the Great Lakes Bay Region flock to our Community Center and Tennis Center every summer. Here’s why:
- Curbside Drop-Off
- Licensed, Trained & Caring Counselors
- Character Development
- State-of-the-Art Facilities
Greater Midland Summer Camps strive to provide opportunities for campers to gain independence, participate in hands-on learning experiences, improve their self-confidence and create lasting friendships in a safe and nurturing environment.
Our Camp staff are selected based on their strength in youth development and areas of interest. Counselors are dedicated to working with campers to improve their self-esteem, social skills, and independence. Each season all camp staff participate in 30+ hours of training where they learn how to best engage, teach, and supervise campers. All camp staff are thoroughly background checked.
SAFETY AT CAMP
Greater Midland Summer Camps are dedicated in ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all campers. To ensure the highest of standards we follow strict state licensing regulations, and continually review our camper health, wellness and safety procedures. Low staff-camper ratios allow counselors to focus on keeping your camper safe and engaged throughout their camp experience.
The Community Center's sliding fee financial assistance program ensures that all children have an opportunity to attend our Summer Camps. Applications for Sliding Fee assistance are available at the Welcome Center help desk. Funding is provided through the United Way of Midland County & individual donations.

HEALTH HISTORY FORMS
Every camper must have a completed Health History form on file at least one week in advance of attending summer camp. This information assists us in knowing how to best work with your child and to make us aware of any pre-existing health related or behavioral concerns. Forms can be found on the Camp Forms Page.
