Weather Policy

If there is no school due to inclement weather then there will be no athletic events for that day or evening -- regardless of what is occurring at the high school.

If the school closure lasts over two days, we will re-assess for practices.

Feb 22 - Tomorrow's (2/23) Swim Meet vs BC Handy has been Rescheduled.

It is now scheduled for Monday, February 27 at 5:30 pm.

Grade Requirement Changes for 2016-17

Greater Midland/MPS will not allow 6th graders to participate in team cut sports (volleyball, boys basketball, girls basketball), unless there is a need due to lack of numbers. 6th grade football players over 125 pounds will be eligible to compete on the 7th grade football team. 7th graders over 140 pounds will be eligible to compete on the 8th grade team. how to register

The following must be turned in at the main office in the athletics black box before the start of practice or tryouts. If registering online, only the Physical Examination form is required; liability and concussion waivers are part of the online consent process.

  1. Physical Examination (dated April 15th, 2016 or later)
  2. Liability Waiver
  3. Parent concussion signed waiver

Parents can register online using the Greater Midland registration program (click on the sport below to begin) OR fill out and return the Registration Form with payment to the Community Center or your school's Athletics Department.

Please respect officials, coaches, and other participants. Any player or spectator displaying unsportsmanlike behavior may be removed from the game, and/or the premises, at the official’s discretion.
