We’re moving our annual race to late August to join the Great Lakes Loons as they make a “RUN FOR THE PENNANT!”
Join us for one of the last nights in the ballpark for the 2019 season as the Loons battle the West Michigan Whitecaps! An entire night of racing, baseball, music and family fun!
A family-friendly race perfect for beginners to the ultra-competitive!
1 Mile Fun Run: 5pm
5K Run: 5:15pm
5K Walk: 5:20pm
Race start will kick off inside the stadium on the right/center field warning track. Runners will loop around home plate and exit through the right field gate for a race on the paved path around downtown Midland. Runners will return to the stadium for that photo-finish near Lou E’s Landing!
RACE REGISTRATION INCLUDES:
Entry to race event: 1 mile fun run, 5K run or 5K walk
Lawn ticket to that night’s 7:05pm Loon’s game against the West Michigan Whitecaps
Race day 3/4 sleeve baseball tee!
PACKET PICK UP
Thursday August 22: 4:30pm - 6:30pm at the Greater Midland Community Center Lobby
Race Day: August 23: 3pm at the Dow Diamond Outfield Gate
More than just a race! Check out all of the loon-tastic fun!
THE OFFICE NIGHT!
Bring on out your JELL-O molded staplers, it’s The Office Night!
Leslie David Baker (Stanley Hudson) will make a special appearance!
Get into the spirit by dressing up as your favorite Office character! Throw on a Schrute Farms sweatshirt or wear your commemorative “Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race for the Cure” t-shirt.
You can even watch the Rabies Awareness Fun Run Episode as part of your “training” (*hint season 4, episode 2). We just don’t recommend Michael’s race day routine!
