Krav Maga, which translates into English as “Contact Combat”, was first developed for the Israeli Defense Force. It is the system for unarmed defensive tactics and survival.

$20/person if you pre-register

Enjoy a fun-filled and relaxing evening on the Chippewa River. During a two-hour trip, you will enjoy breathtaking views and experience nature right in our community.

For all kayak trips, please arrive at the Chippewa Nature Center at 5:30 p.m. We will carpool to the launch site, and be floating by 6:00 p.m.

Traverse City is a must-see location during Michigan’s fall season. This trip will not disappoint those who want to experience the beauty of our state.

TRIP INCLUDES:
-Motorcoach pickup and drop off - front entrance of the Community Center
-A guided tour of the former Traverse City State Hospital
-A $15 gift card for lunch at the Grand Traverse Commons
-A trip up through the Old Mission Peninsula where you will see the true beauty of Michigan along with changing tree colors
-A guided tour and wine tasting of the Chateau Grand Traverse.
(You'll get a complete overview of the wine-making process from harvest to bottling.)
-A tour through the Harbor View Lavender Farm. (Lavender will not be in bloom, but you will learn how the lavender is grown and harvested there.)
-Time to walk around the Mission Point Lighthouse. This is the most photographed place by the beach in that region.

This one-day adult doubles tournament has thirteen divisions covering all skill levels - even brand new players!! (One event entry maximum).

The cost is $65 and includes two guaranteed matches, a t-shirt, a light breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, games and activities, and a DJ Jim Dorais-style party!

Guests of players may also participate in the Pig & Pit festivities by purchasing a $20 wristband for food and drink access.
